What is included in the cost of service? (Why is it so expensive?)

Our honest and transparent pricing includes the cost of transportation from door to door, including any import or export taxes and fees. Full-coverage insurance is always included, as is a dedicated account representative. Our proprietary communication system guarantees you are in the loop around the clock. The quoted price of your vehicle transport might appear higher than prices advertised by some other companies because we never hide additional fees behind an incomplete quote.
How long will it take for my car to be picked up?
You can generally expect your vehicle to be picked up within 12-72 hours of order placement. If you have an expedited need, let us know. We are more than happy to assist!
How long will it take for my car to be delivered?
The Department of Transportation regulates overland shipping. Commercial drivers cover an average of 500 miles per day. A cross-country transport will take approximately 7-10 days for open container shipping. Enclosed shipping will generally be quicker, taking approximately 5-7 days, since the delivery route includes fewer cars.
How does payment work?
ShipLux requires a deposit at booking, to be charged when the Network Carrier pickup is scheduled. If any balance remains at the time of delivery, it should be paid in full by certified check, cashier’s check, or cash. Other methods of payment may be arranged prior to vehicle delivery.
