What is a door-to-door service?
It means that the carrier will pick up your vehicle from any address you provide to us and deliver it to any desired location of your choice as long as those have truck-friendly streets and there are no low-hanging trees. If accessibility is limited, the Driver may suggest meeting at any big parking lot in the area, like local supermarket or mall with enough space to load / unload your vehicle(s).
What type of trailer will my vehicle be transported on?
Most of the time, your vehicle(s) will be transported on open 8 or 10-car hauler, the same ones that you might have seen next to the local dealerships. We also have other options you might be interested in, like enclosed car haulers or flat beds. Feel free to ask your agent about them.
Can I put any personal items inside the car?
Yes, you can put up to 100 lbs of your personal items inside the car during transportation as long as they’re below the window level and properly secured. So you can put them in the trunk or the backseat. Any personal belongings sent inside your car will not be insured for loss or damage. All of the mentioned above has to be discussed with your shipping manager during the reservation. If there’s more weight inside – the driver will probably charge extra for that.
How long will it take to get my car delivered?
Transport time is always estimated and provided to us by a specific carrier. However, the drivers usually cover about 400 miles per day so you should be able to understand your estimated shipping time depending on the mileage of the trip.
